HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone!
I hope everyone saw Santa this year and got lots of toys.
This year we drove a long way in the snow to get to my Nana and Grampy’s house in Massachusetts. Nana and Grampy’s house is always lots of fun because it’s big with stairs and lots of rooms. This year my Uncle Todd and Aunt Angela came all the way from California, too. Unfortunately, Uncle Todd was a little bit scary when he talked to me but we had fun anyway.
I made sure to spend some quality time on the phone, just like last year.
Let’s cut to the chase… presents! I already told you about my first present that I got a little early, which is still awesome and in daily use, by the way. I also got the perfect companion for it: finger crayons from Melissa (you can sort of see them in the picture). I love them!
I got many more presents on Christmas. Actually, I got to open one or two presents every day until Christmas and then still had a bunch more. Christmas is the best!! I even got to pretend to be Santa, and help my Grampy hand out presents to everyone!
Here’s what I got:
an awesome garbage truck from my Uncle Todd and Aunt Ang, complete with working trash compactor and garbage bins,
some Spot books and doctor set from my Nana and Grampy, a Thomas the Tank Engine railway set from Mommy and Daddy, Percy and Harold the helicopter from cousins Lori and Ava,
I also got a boulder construction site with noisy crane and an engine wash for my trains! Sorry I didn’t take pictures of all of my presents yet, but I’ve been too busy playing with them! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
Daddy took me out to play in the snow while we were there too. I didn’t really like riding on the sled though. Maybe next year.
But perhaps best of all (hard to believe, I know), I got to see my long lost friend Eli again!! He brought his Mommy and Papa over to play for the morning before leaving for France for a few weeks. We were really happy to see each other. I thought I would never get to see him again after our fun day before he moved.
As you can imagine, and, again, just like last year, I was tired out by all of this excitement and had to relax with a movie when I got home.
